--Appeal by SG OF  AIACEGEO TO SG OF AICEIA-
Dear Ajitji,
good afternoon.
As you know that AIACEGEO (Supdts Assn) has served a notice to the FM to
observe agitational programme under 5 steps regarding the worst career
prospects being faced by the Inspectors & Superintendents for decades.
The programme had already been communicated to you seeking support
and participation. We all know that the Inspectors and Superintendents of
Central Excise are the worst hit categories under the government of India in
every aspect. They are the most stagnated ones on account of getting only
one promotion throughout the career after entry into the Inspector cadre.
We retire in PB2 and others in PB4. We are not only deprived of promotional
avenues & other career prospects but also of appropriate pay packages,
working conditions, basic amenities and required facilities.
BEING THE WORST HIT, nothing is better than to observe
combined programmes and make united efforts. We tried to be at a
common platform of JAC but couldn't be materialized due to the
 want of agreed common agenda.
We all know that the ultimate benefit would cascade to our Inspectors,
if AIACEGEO is able to get something from the authorities.
But chances of getting anything will increase multi-times,
if such efforts are made in an united manner by both of the
organisations, i.e., Supdts & Inspectors Assns. Whatever charter
of demands has been sent by AIACEGEO to the FM, that is no way
against the interest of our Inspectors. Moreover, every correspondence
made by AIACEGEO starts with direct interests of our Inspectors.
In view of the above, it is again appealed that both of the Associations should observe the programme combinedly. Inspectors Assn. is, therefore, very cordially invited to be part & parcel of the programme being observed by the Supdts to support common cause of all the Inspectors and Superintendents throughout India.
Love,
Ravi.
