The
notice to revive our programme of Satyagraha served yesterday has already been posted in this blog post . All are requested to be well prepared by making
personal contacts, phones, sms's, mails, meetings, visiting offices
& residences etc. with/of all the members to make the programme
successful & effective. Merely issuing circulars and making
advertisements never make any programme successful. Only an effective
& strong programme can give us results as nobody is worried about
us. Only we have to be worried & serious about us. If we are unable
to help ourselves, nobody else will help us. All are requested to be
well prepared for stronger programmes because nobody will listen us
until we observe strong programmes with completeness & effectiveness
particularly when they didn't bother even for court verdicts.
All the units are requested to serve the due notice
to concerned local authorities. The local issues pertaining to the
respective unit may also be reflected with the charter of demands by the
units.
The
most of our issues are very well redressable by CBEC itself. Others may
be recommended strongly to the nodal departments with ACTUAL positive
notes by them. In some of the legal cases, favourable positive
affidavit may be filed in the courts; if they have honest intention
& will power to really do something for us. It is very unfortunate
that issues are unredressed for decades and have accumulated in large
number due to decade long unredressal. If something positive comes from
legal courts for us, the same is negated by our own Board instead of
giving due benefits to us. Actually, our Board may give more benefits to
us on the basis of court verdicts; if really interested & intended.
For example, all the disparities in promotions with Customs & other counterparts could be removed on the basis of 03.08.11 Supreme Court judgement by framing the suitable RR's but, very unfortunately, our own CBEC kept opposing us in the court and is proud of their victory on us.
They were
never, are never and will be never serious for us; until we ourselves
are not serious for us. We have to learn a lot from our Chandigarh Unit along with a few others to make our programmes successful.
