In Karnataka, the Unit of Central Excise Superintendents Association
organised a joint convention on
16th feb. 2013 under the forum JAC of all cadres of Karnataka.This
convention was being organised to appraise the members across
cadres to fight and participate in the protests to be observed by
AIACEGEO. This attempt of Karnataka is highly appreciable. Basically we
are going to observe agitation for the following important issues;
1. Immediate approval of CR proposals of CBEC without any cut as cleared by Department of Expenditure.
2. Implementation of in-situ scheme to remove of stagnation in all the cadres of CBEC.
3. Framing of Recruitment Rules to maintain parity in promotions.
4. Implementation of Apex Court orders as per verdicts.
5. Removal of Pay and MACP anomalies.
The above said issues are related to all the cadres of CBEC, therefore all the cadres have no objection to join in agitation for fulfillment of the above said demands. The SG of AIACEGEO, Shri Ravi Malik, attended the meeting of JAC twice and tried to convince the other constituents about the necessity of approval of CR urgently. If CR will not be approved by Cabinet before issue of notification for general election, then we have to forget the CR for at least another 5 years. But the other constituents of JAC could not realize our problems and decided to ask the CR report for which we thought by asking such report the CR might be delayed for another 5 years and for that reason alone we decided to chalk out our own agitational programme without joining in JAC.
Now since our Karnataka unit has successfully convinced other cadres for necessity of immediate approval of CR, now I appeal all our Units to organise similar type of co ordination meeting with other cadres at local level and try to convince them to join in our agitational programme in Karnataka pattern.
Administration has issued letter, threatening us about violation of conduct rules. Friends the situation is do or die, hence please do not care for such letter.
