Respected President/SG Sirs,
Congratulations for successful 1st phase of Agitation !
First Phase of Agitational programme has also been held forcefully
and effectively by our Unit of Patna, Rachi & Jamshedpur. We had our
GB Meeting on 15/16th of Feb, 2013, which endorsed All India call for
the phased agitation. It only proposed an addendum that some
intermediary strike for one (or more) day should be observed before
resorting to mass resignation. It is comforting that we are having our
AC meet on 16 th in Delhi to review the agitation programme.
AEC requiring a bigger participation possibly cannot be held in short
notice. AC in Delhi would, hopefully suffice for the purpose for which
we would be meeting. We sense the atmosphere to be congenial (letter for
Recognition, Timely issue of Minute of 31.1 Meeting, Letter from Member
(P& V) interalia informing advance stage of Cadre Review etc); and
there is a quite old adage- "strike the iron while it is hot". We need
to be
only focussed in our programme. Nevertheless, all such Units, whose
views are not capable of being represented through office bearers, may
be invited for the MEET on 16th.
Meanwhile, the Unit of Patna, Rachi & Jamshedpur of AICEGEO has agreed to host the next AEC Meeting at Patna.
In this regard a resolution was moved in our Unit Executive Committee
Meeting at Jamshedpur on 12th October,2012 which approved the move.
However, it asked for final decision by General Body. Now, our GB in its
Meeting on 15/16th February has also passed a resolution to hold next
Associate Executive Meeting at Patna after the present call of Agitaion
concludes on 30th of April, 2013.
Kindly make it convenient to fix the date.
We shall be happy and privileged to host the AEC Meet.
