1. The details of the pending dues are attached herewith.
All the concerned units are once again requested to clear their dues giving up
all of the shynesses in the matter immediately or in the forthcoming AEC
meeting to be held at Chennai on 19.07.14. It is really not good that the
pending dues are not being cleared despite of the repeated requests. We should
not forget that it’s our own Association and only we have to subscribe and
collect funds for it. It is very unfortunate that we are not able to clear the
dues even on a meagre rate of Rs. 60/- per member per annum which comes to be
only Rs. 5/- per month and merely around 16 paise per day. Do we really have a
too little status of not being able to subscribe even 16 paise per day to our
Association? We’ll really have to introspect.
Any discrepancy in the dues may kindly be pointed to the Treasurer
and Office Secretary in the forthcoming AEC meeting.
2. A file recommending an initial grade pay of Rs. 5400/-
in PB2 as per para 7.14.24 of 6th CPC report for our Superintendents is under
consideration in Expenditure. The file was initiated in CBEC on a communication
from Expenditure in r/o our representation to the Expenditure.
3. A file recommending Non Functional Upgradation at par
with CSS counterparts is already on the table of the Chairperson. The file was
initiated in HRD as per our representation to Cabinet Secretary and CBEC as
well as DG of HRD. The file may now be recommended to the Expenditure.
4. The terms of reference of Study Group for removal of the
stagnation of group B are already placed on the site of CBEC. This has been
done on the recommendations of cadre review committee headed by the Cabinet
Secretary on our regular persuasions with the Cabinet Secretary to do
something for us independent of cadre restructuring. We have already talked to
both of the members of this study group and due representations have already
been submitted to the Study Group. Let's see what happens. If we are united and are able to show physical gatherings wherever
& whenever required, anything can happen in our favour on every issue.
