Winter knocks the door as November arrives in India. People start getting ready for the winter season by buying winter clothes and heating appliances.
November is a month of festive fun and frolic for Indians as well as tourists. Some of the most popular and colourful festivals commence during this month. Diwali, a Hindu festival of colourful lights and sweets, will be celebrated in November this year besides Govardhan Puja, Bhai Duj, Chhat Puja and Guru Nanak's Birthday.
