Sub: Discrimination between the direct recruit and promotee Asstt. Commissioners.
Sir,
Kindly find enclosed herewith the newspaper cutting of Nagpur edition of Dainik Bhaskar newspaper.
2. It is to submit with due regards that this matter was also raised earlier before the administration but it seems that the due remedial measures have not been taken on the issue. It is reported in the enclosed news cutting that the promotee Asstt. Commissioners are being discriminated and independent chambers are not being provided to them whereas direct recruit Asstt. Commissioners are having independent chambers. Not only it, one promotee Asstt. Commissioner has not been provided even the shared chamber for the last six months.
  3. Further, there is no change in the scenario despite of the letter of the Board on the issue. It is reiterated that not only the promotee Group ‘A’ officers but also the Group ‘B’ executive officers should be provided prescribed office with all amenities and facilities. Also, all other prescribed entitlements should be provided to these officers without any discrimination.
4. In view of the above, it is requested to kindly provide all prescribed entitlements including the due chambers and all due facilities/amenities to all Group ‘B’ executive officers and promotee Group ‘A’ officers including promotee Asstt. Commissioners in all formations under the CBIC throughout the country to undo the discrimination as reported in the newspaper.
Thanking You,
                                 Yours sincerely,
Encl: As above.
(RAVI MALIK),
Secretary General.
