I am getting regular queries regarding the DPC for the post of Asstt. Commissioner.
Friends, the DPC was very well expected within this month but couldn't happen till date, first due to not sending the required information to HRD by the field formations timely and second due to the stay on it by the Hon'ble Jabalpur CAT. If required information and APARs were sent timely before the grant of the stay, the DPC could happen within mid-December. But unfortunately, it couldn't happen due to the lethargic approach of the concerned authorities sitting in the field formations.
Now, as the CBIC has approached the Hon'ble High Court of Jabalpur on the issue, it seems that the DPC would happen only after the resolution of the stay. The matter is posted for 07.01.19 in the Jabalpur High Court now.
All concerned are requested to expedite the pending information and APARs to be sent to the HRD at the earliest.
