To,
The Principal Chief Commissioner (Lucknow Zone),
CGST & Customs, Lucknow.
Sub: Recommendation of names of Superintendents for posting to Customs (Prev.) Commissionerate.
Sir,
Kindly refer to the earlier communication under Ref. No. 121/AIB/T/19 Dt.10.06.19 of the Association on the above subject.
            2. It is to reiterate with due regards that the officers have been transferred without completion of their tenure in the existing Commissionerate and the transfer policy has also been framed without consulting the Staff Associations despite of the long standing directions/instructions of the Board to consult the Associations on the issue.
3. The Association came to know that one officer has already got his transfer stayed by the Hon’ble CAT of Allahabad because of being against the policy. So, the possibility of many more unwarranted litigations on the issue can’t be ruled out. The request of the Association is that the issue may kindly be resolved administratively instead of legal recourse and the officers may be relieved only after the resolution of the issue.
4. In the view of the above, it is requested to kindly transfer only those officers who have either completed their tenure in the existing Commissionerate or have opted for the Customs. It is also requested that the compassionate grounds including DOPT guidelines, medical of self & family members/parents, working spouse, no spouse, ward/s appearing for Board examination or higher education, girl child, handicapped child, deaf & dumb child etc. etc. may also kindly be considered as per the representations made by the concerned officers.
Thanking you,
Yours sincerely,

(RAVI MALIK),
Secretary General.
