Unity and Convention

Dear friends,
Namaste.
          Hectic efforts were made to sit with Mr. Manimohan for unity in the interest of the cadre through one very close to him. But unfortunately, he denied even to sit with us particularly with Ravi Malik and A. Venkatesh. However, despite his denial, he is most welcome to sit with us for the sake of unity in the interest of the cadre but without putting any condition, if he and his associates really want unity. We have already invited them to be in Convention. We have to elect such office bearers in the Convention who are having no vested/personal interest and are above the feelings of regionalism, casteism and categorism whether relating to general category or reserved category, whether relating to direct recruit or promotee category, whether relating to inter-commissionerate or non-intercommissionerate category, whether relating to sportsman or non-sportsman etc. We have to elect such office bearers who work in the common interest for all forgetting personal interests of any individual or any category.
          We have not to forget that we were able to get the following important issues recommended by our Board first time in the history after the publication of the report of VIIth Pay Commission-
          1.Promotion of our Superintendent to STS (DC) instead of JTS (AC).
         2Batch to batch Non Functional Financial Upgradation (NFU) to grant financial parity to our officers with the best placed counterparts of CSS etc. to compensate the lack of promotions.
         3. Pay scale at par with DSP of CBI for our Superintendents.
         4. To bring Flexible Complementary/Dynamic Assured Career Progression Scheme for our officers to remove stagnation.
         5. Merger of Level-9 and 10 (Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/- in PB2 and PB3).
          6. Uniform promotional hierarchy across all ministries/departments.
          7. Minimum five functional promotions to our officers.
       
          But unfortunately due to the act of division by the dividers (WHO ONCE DIVIDED INSPECTOR ASSOCIATION TOO UNDER THEIR VESTED INTERESTS, INDIVIDUAL PLEASURE AND PERSONAL AMBITIONS) of the cadre due to their vested interest and overambitions, none of the issues could reach the finality and our efforts to get the historic recommendations by the CBIC seem to go in vein.
          Friends, we have not to forget that UNITY IS OUR ONLY STRENGTH. WHEN UNITED, WE ALWAYS STAND. IF DIVIDED, WE ALWAYS FALL.
          WE HAVE NEVER TO FORGET THAT THE PERSONAL INTERESTS, PLEASURES AND AMBITIONS ARE NEVER ABOVE THE INTEREST OF THE CADRE.
