Namaste Dosto.
Regular queries are being received about the DPC for the post of Asstt. Commissioner and also about Cadre Restructuring. Many queries are whether the Cadre Restructuring would affect the DPC and how much time Cadre Restructuring and DPC may take.
DPC: As far as the DPC is concerned, every effort is being made to get it done at the earliest. Our Board and Chairman are also equally concerned and serious for the DPC. Efforts are being made to resolve the legal cases to get the DPC done. All units of AIACEGEO and all concerned are requested to kindly expedite the work of sending the relevant information at the earliest and correctly to the HRD. If things go well and relevant information reaches HRD timely and correctly, we may hope the holding of DPC even in the month of February itself. Cadre Restructuring will no way affect the DPC.
Cadre Restructuring: The proposal is yet to be sent to the DOPT through the Revenue Secretary by the CBIC. After DOPT, it will go to the Expenditure, Cadre Review Committee headed by the Cabinet Secretary and finally to the Cabinet. The time taken for its finalisation will depend how fast our CBIC acts for it. Even if things go in the fastest way, it will take at least six months. However, as per the past record, it may take years despite of being well pursued.
