Sub: Option for posting.

Madam,

Kindly refer to the letter F.No. HRM-II/PCM/(3)/B2A/1/2021-PLC O/o ADG-HRM-II-DELHI Dt. 11.01.21 calling for option for posting on promotion of Group B officers to the grade of Asstt. Commissioner vide Office Order No. 156/2020 Dt. 24.12.20.

            2. It is to submit with due regards that the online module for the purpose has been opened for a limited period only upto 13.01.21. The officers are finding it difficult to file their options due to some technical problem or slow response of the module. The time limit for filing the option, therefore, is kindly required to be extended for a few days more.

            3. It is also submitted that the most of the officers promoted earlier as Asstt. Commissioner after 2014 were displaced from their existing places. Even the officers under three years of retirement were transferred and have not been called back to their parent/requested places. These officers are already passing a very hard time away from their families on account of their old age related health problems/complications alongwith other hardships and compassionate circumstances. Their families are also facing hardships at another places without them because of not being in the position to be displaced to the new place. It, therefore, seems that these officers should also kindly be given the opportunity to give option for transfer for the sake of justice.

4. In view of the above, it is requested that-

i) The time limit for giving the option may kindly be extended for a few days more.

ii) The officers displaced from their existing places earlier may also be brought to their parent/requested places based on their earlier representations/options or seeking fresh representations/options from them.

Thanking you,

Yours sincerely,

(HARPAL SINGH),

Secretary General.
