MEETING WITH DG/HRD ON 19.05.14.

Dear friends,
Namaste.
As came to my knowledge, a very unfortunate blog has been posted by our Inspectors’ Association on their blogspot. They have presented the AIACEGEO as their opposition party despite of every correspondence of ours being started favouring our Inspectors. I am forced to write these things because of their unfriendly & unhealthy attitude. They are trying to make a false pretext to hide their failure and are again in the mood to delay the implementation of the cadre restructuring without any valid reason. They actually tried their best for AIACEGO not to be invited for the meeting of 19.05.14. After the meeting, they presented the things in quite improper way about our AIACEGEO on their blogspot instead of presenting their cause properly during the meeting and convincing the administration accordingly. Despite of their proposal not being opposed by our Association at all, they made contrary allegations. We only requeted the committee to give them the justice in the manner whatever the CBEC want but there should be no imbalance in working/assisting hands with any of our Superintendents in any zone. We also said that our Superintendents should also not be transferred on all India basis. It is reiterated that both these points are our valid points without being opposed by anybody in the meeting including the administration. Nobody including Inspectors’ Association had any counter to our points and their SG simply said that their officers may be transferred to other zones only on their request on promotion. Further, we correctly said about the residency period to be in strict consonance of the DOPT guidelines being supported by the administration as well as every Association present in the meeting except the Inspectors’ Association. Every point of ours including this one was very well agreed by the administration. I like to offer no comments on the ‘force’ of their ‘advances’. Rather we should wait for the minutes of the meeting. The facts about our OS have also not been presented correctly by them. There was no such stage when any of the authorities advised us to confine our submissions to functioning to our own Association. Such type of advice, however, was given to some other Association.
Even whatever informed/replied about the notifications in respect of jurisdiction of new formations and staff allocations, it was only in reply to our own query as nobody else raised this issue. AIACEGEO requested the administration to provide the latest all India seniority list of the Superintendents which they agreed. They also informed about the notifications to be issued soon on being asked by us. On being asked about the sending of proposal to UPSC for promotion from group B to group A, they informed that ACR dossiers etc. from some places are still awaited. They were also requested to issue the promotion orders against remaining 39 vacancies of ACs for last DPC using provisions of extended panel. It was replied that they would take up the matter with the Board. Finally, we requested the DG to talk personally to the concerned CCs to expedite the sending of the ACRs etc. and she immediately agreed.
As on date, the ACRs etc. in r/o 195 officers are still pending. The concerned units are requested to expedite the issue with their local authorities on immediate basis. All the concerned units are also once again requested to clear the dues and donate maximum funds to our AIACEGEO particularly for legal cases.
                        Love,
                        Ravi.
