MESSAGE FROM RAVI MALIK / SG/ AIACEGEO

Dear friends,
Namaste.
                  1. The Associate Committee meeting will be held on 11.04.15 (Saturday) in the Committee Room at C. R. Building, New Delhi. Meeting will start at 11 a.m. with the following agenda-
A. Immediate DPC against the existing vacancies (including the vacancies to be cascaded downwards) of Asstt. Commissioner and operation of vacant STS & above posts at JTS level.
B. Scheme independent of cadre restructuring to improve the career prospects of Central Excise Superintendents/Inspectors to bring parity with common entry counterparts of CSS etc. to retire our officers also in PB-4.
C. Pay matters including MACPS.
      D. GST vs. our career prospects.
      E. Infrastructure & working conditions.
      F. Funds, subscription and DDO certificates.
      G. Steps to be taken to achieve our goals including agitational measures.
      H. Any other point with the permission of chair.
All of the delegates are requested to bear all of their expenses on their own to support the Association.
                        2. I am getting regular calls about the next DPC for the post of Asstt. Commissioner. At least a review DPC was expected very soon after the DPC held in the month of October, 14 but nothing could happen due to indifferent approach of the concerned section/authorities despite of the DOPT provisions to fix the responsibility of the concerned hand for any lapse in observing the prescribed DPC schedule. Reasons behind the non-holding of further DPC’s are being told-
a)      Some court cases.
b)      Changed RRs in r/o cadre restructuring awaited from DOPT.
c)      Now non-completion of quorum of DPC for the want of one more member.
DPC issue, however, is being pursued with the concerned authorities.
3. Our some more promotee ACs have donated the funds to the Association as below-
i. Sh. J. P. Sharma from Bombay     Rs. 10,000/-.
ii. Sh. D. P. Bhatia from Delhi         Rs. 10,000/-.
iii. Sh. Praveen Jolly from Delhi      Rs. 5,000/-.
iv. Five officers from Raipur            Rs. 25,000/-.
Salute to all of above officers. Sh. Praveen Jolly has promised to pay even more.
4. All of the concerned units are once again requested to clear the pending dues already circulated and also donate maximum funds to the Association to at least make it able to pay the hefty fees of advocates for different cases (MACPS, parity with intra-organisational counterparts, pay scale etc.). No need to say again that the Association is already very badly short of funds.
5. If any unit wants to invite the All India Office Bearers for any purpose, it is requested to the concerned unit to kindly bear the expenses of the visit. The units, with whom such expenses are still pending, are also requested to clear the expenses of the visit.
Love,
Ravi.
