Came to know that the CBEC is going to ask two weeks time from Chennai CAT tomorrow on 15.12.16. It means ASG/Govt. counsel will merely ask time from the CAT tomorrow further delaying the verdict. I have already talked to our advocate to take up the matter vigorously tomorrow in the CAT to de-link Bakthavachalam case from the Bharatan case as both cases have no relation because of having totally different grounds and reliefs. Advocate has promised to fight the case with all of his might. Let's see what happens.
The case is also being pursued with the Ministry of Law and a meeting of CBEC & Law is very much expected tomorrow. The fate of DPC will also depend on the legal opinion to be given by Ministry of Law tomorrow.
