Met today Gen V K Singh, Minister of State, External Affairs and Sh. C. R. Chaudhary, Minister of State, Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Commerce & Industry in separate meetings at their residences. S/sh c s Sharma, n r manda & harpal Singh accompanied me. Issues like NFU to grant financial parity with CSS, implementation of para 7.15.24 of 6th CPC report (I.e. initial GP of Rs 5400 in PB2 to our Supdts) & arrears since 1996 at par with NCB Superintendents were discussed. Both went through the papers submitted by us and assured to do needful. Let's c Wht hpns. All r again reqsted to exhaust all VIP relations in the intrest of cadre. These three issues are the most attainable ones as on date because of already reaching advance stages. For DPC, v'l hv to go to supreme court for wich written ordr of Madras HC is awaited.
