In view of the track record of CBEC and nodal departments, I am getting regular queries whether the benefit of the Subramanium case would be given to applicant/s only or to all officers in general. As we are already in the court for its general implementation and the CBEC in the counter-reply in r/o the case filed by the Association has said that they are unable to give the benefit of the case to all in general due to the case being pending in the Hon’ble Supreme Court, now the CBEC has no reason to say that the case can't be implemented in general after the dismissal of the SLP of the CBEC and finalization of the case at the level of the Hon’ble Apex Court.
