No need to say that everybody now knows that a few units particularly from Chennai-Coimbatore zone have formed a group claiming to be AIACEGEO instead of coming to Gandhidham. They may have their own reasons of not coming to Ghandhidham and contest the elections. They may also have their reasons to form a separate group. But it is certain that this separatist step is no way in the interest either of Association or the cadre. This will give the opportunity only to the administration to dilute our issues. The separatist approach is the only reason of the DPC for the post of Asstt. Commissioner not being conducted which otherwise should have been done months ago.
I again appeal to those ofour officers, who are instrumental to halt the DPC by going to the legal court, of Chennai-Coimbatore Zone to think about those of our officers who are regularly retiring without promotion for the want of DPC which include our officers belonging to Chennai-Coimbatore zone too. Everybody knows that the temporary posts of Asstt. Commissioner were created only for a limited period, i.e., upto December, 2018. If this period is expired due to legal tangle, nobody including the petitioners will be benefited and posts will be lapsed. Also seems that no such legal tangle would have happened, if the Association was not instrumental to get 2000+ posts of Asstt. Commissioner created.
The separatist group is also appealed to be united with the Association like in the past to pursue the cadre issues in all-united manner. If there are some issues, the same may be resolved by sitting together. I don't understand that this group would be having any other agenda except the interest of the cadre. We have not to give the opportunity to anybody to play with the interest of the cadre, which is possible only by our unity.
