Our counsel and ASG discussed the issue and decided that DPC is priority. ASG informed the court that association is with us and DPC is priority. Ld. ASG Mr Maninder Singh began his arguments with the remark that Respondent Association has also asked for holding DPC and therefore the short point that is to be taken into consideration is only of seniority and apprehensions of those appointed before 1/3/1986. Our counsel also informed that we are the respondent no 8 instead of who have filed application for not holding the DPC. ASG said that Parmar case has been implemented nowhere for pre-1986 period and 1985 batch Inspectors will no way be junior to 1986 batch Inspectors by its implantation to which effect affidavit will be filed upto Friday as we want to intend to conduct DPC next week. The Hon’ble bench was also with the ASG and being agreed asked the UoI to file an affidavit regarding the seniority. So, the case was put for coming Tuesday considering that no cause remained for main respondent (Sh. Bharathan). So practical way of DPC was agreed. Court said that the Bench is well aware of the contentions of the Association represented by Secretary General Sh. Ravi Malik. The application filed by Sh. Ravi Malik taken on record and said that the application will be duly heard along with SLP on Tuesday. However, the written order is awaited.
