Deficit of funds

Dear friends,
namaste.
Again the heartiest congratulations to all officers promoted to the post of Asstt. Commissioner. As we all know that we had to fight tooth & nail for this promotion order due to the adamant attitude of our own officers (Sh. Manimohan & associates) forcing us to incur lacs of rupees in the Hon'ble Supreme Court from both sides as hefty fees of Senior advocates per hearing. This hard earned money of the cadre could be saved, if Sh. Manimohan & associates were not adamant not to happen the DPC. No doubt that everybody has legal right to fight for one's cause but it should never be on the cost of others (by stopping promotions of others in this case). If any verdict comes in the favour of anybody, the concerned authorities are bound to follow the same. No need to say that majority of us was being forced to retire with single promotion in the career but now the stage has come to get at least two promotions in the career due to the efforts of the AIACEGEO. It is really painful, if our own colleagues (Sh. Manimohan & associates) hinder the way of promotion. They wasted huge money of the cadre which could be used on other issues in fruitful manner. Not only this case, they wasted public money in the case of Customs reorganization also. The administration had already promised us (AIACEGEO) to have the Customs formations manned by Central Excise personnel only with the GST personnel which was very well fulfilled by them irrespective of the legal case filed by Sh. Manimohan & associates.
As far as this case of promotion is concerned, we were forced by Sh. Manimohan & associates to incur the money to the tune of Rs. 16 lac for one senior advocate (we are not aware about the money incurred on three senior advocates of their side). Unfortunately, money was forced to be taken on loan and still we are in deficit of Rs. 8 lac+. So, all are requested to contribute generously not only to make up the deficit but also for the legal fight on various issues in the actual interest of the cadre for common benefit of all. No need to say that all promotee Group 'A' officers are also the members of the Association and all of the recently promoted Asstt. Commissioners are appealed to contribute happily at least Rs. 10000/- per individual for common cause. Whoever want to contribute more, they are always welcomed. The details of the account of the Association are as below-
