I am getting regular queries about the DPC for the post of Asstt. Commissioner. Friends, this DPC is on hold due to legal stay from the Hon'ble CAT of Jabalpur. The Association has already filed an IA for the vacation of the stay. Accordingly, the CBIC also filed a stay vacation IA on being pursued by the Association. These IAs were heard on 27.02.19 by the Hon'ble CAT and the order was reserved. This order may come anytime now. The fate of the DPC will depend on this order. If stay is vacated, needless to say that every effort would be made to get DPC done immediately.
