Madam,
good afternoon.
Kindly refer to your D.O. letter No. F.5/1/2014-CH(EC) Dt. 26.05.14 placed on the site of the CBEC.
It is submitted with due regards that position of pending ACR's shown in the above letter of your goodself doesn;t seem correct. As re-verified from the concerned office of the Delhi Central Excise Zone, the correct position is that there is no pending ACR on the part of the Delhi Zone.
It is, therefore, requested to kindly make the records of the CBEC correct accordingly. It is also requested to kindly use your personal influence to call the pending ACR's from the concerned authorities on immediate basis without further delay particularly keeping in view that a good number of our officers are retiring every month without the rarest IInd promotion in the career.
It is very unfortunate that the field authorities are giving no importance even to the DOPT guidelines regarding fixation of responsibility for the delay in such matters.
