Sub: Preliminary inter-action meeting
between 7th CPC & AIACEGEO- request reg.
Sir,
Kindly refer to the letter Ref. No. 109/CPC/14 Dt. 23.05.14 of the Association.
2. It is submitted with due regards
that the All India Association of Central Excise Gazetted Executive Officers
represents 17,000 Superintendents of Central Excise who are earning the
major revenue for the Government every year with full commitment &
dedication well ahead of the set targets in the form of Indirect Taxes despite
of facing the total demoralization, humiliation & disappointment on account
of the worst career prospects. These officers are forced to retire on a
PB2 post with only single promotion in the career of 35-40 years after entry
into the job as Inspector whereas their counterparts are able to enjoy PB4 levels
after getting 5-6 promotions.
3. It is further
submitted that the Central Govt. employees have been expecting the grant of the
interim relief to the tune of 25 per cent of basic pay (Grade Pay + Band Pay)
and merger of 50% DA with the basic pay since 01.01.11.
4. In view of
the above, it is requested that-
i) The Hon’ble
Commission may kindly recommend the grant of the interim relief to all Central
Govt. employees to the tune of 25% of basic pay (Grade Pay + Band Pay) and
merger of 50% DA with the basic pay w.e.f. 01.01.11 as an interim measure.
ii) The Association may also kindly be granted
a preliminary inter-action meeting with the Hon’ble Commission.
Thanking you,
