Ref. No. 138/AIB/T/19
Dt. 21.06.19
To,
The
Principal Chief Commissioner (Lucknow Zone),
CGST &
Customs, Lucknow.
Sub: Request
for retention of office bearers of Association at existing station.
Sir,
Kindly
refer to the earlier communications under Ref. No. 121/AIB/T/19 Dt.10.06.19 and 129/AIB/C/19 Dt.19.06.19 of the
Association on the above subject.
2. It is to submit with due regards that the copies of the
representations of the Joint Secretary of Agra Unit (Sh. Sushil Kumar Sehgal)
and the President of Kanpur Unit (Sh. Mukul Bajpai) of the Association are enclosed
herewith for your kind and sympathetic consideration. It is to submit further
that the tenure of none of the officers has been completed in the existing
Commissionerate. Their families are settled in Agra and Kanpur itself.
In addition to other circumstances, the spouse of Sh. Sehgal is working in Agra
itself and can only be transferred in block level of Agra
district. In addition to other circumstances, the spouse of Sh. Bajpai is
seriously ill and he is the only person to look after her.
3. It is also worth to submit that this
All India Body of the Association is having its local units/branches throughout
the country as per the RSA Rules, 1993. The
office bearers of the branches attend all issues/grievances of the members and
the issues relating to the welfare activities on day-to-day basis by bringing
the same before the concerned Authority for the due redressal.
4. It is further to submit that the non-retention/posting of
the above office bearers at Headquarters would not only jeopardises the
staff-welfare activities but would also delink the Association from the
administration to help in solving the staff grievances and other relevant
issues.
5. In view of the above, it is requested that the above named office bearers of
the Association may kindly not be transferred out of the Headquarters and may
kindly be retained at the existing station for the smooth functioning of
Association welfare activities also in addition to considering their prevailing
circumstances sympethetically.
Thanking
you,
Yours
sincerely,
Encls: As above.
(RAVI MALIK),
Secretary General.
