I am getting regular queries about the implementation of the Subramaniam verdict. Friends, it has again been sent to Expenditure and being pursued. Hopefully, this time we should get positive response from the Expenditure to implement it in rem. Otherwise, we are already well prepared to file contempt in this case.
I am also being asked whether this case would help us to get the higher Grade Pay of Rs. 6600/- under MACPS. Answer is that it would not give higher Grade Pay of Rs. 6600/- under MACPS. However, it will prepone the time scale in Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/- in PB2 in alllicable cases. Accordingly, next MACP upgradation will also be preponed in the applicable cases.
