Shri Shankar Biswas became Secretary General of All India Federation of Central Excise Gazetted Executive Officers (now All India Association of Central Excise Gazetted Executive Officers) during 1991. He was re-elected during 1995 and continued till 2002. He became the President of the All India Pensioners Association of CBIC during 2016 and again during 2019 and is continuing till date on this post. At present, he is hospitalized due to being found corona positive. Though, at present, he is corona negative; however, his condition is very serious. Best wishes, Dada.
