Sub: Preventive
measures to contain corona pandemic.
Sir,
Kindly refer to the various OMs issued
by the DOPT to contain corona pandemic year ago.

It is to submit with due regards that this year the pandemic has already spread
with more speed, severity and fatality as compared to the last year.
Accordingly, some effective measures are required to be taken on immediate
basis including work from home, 50-50 attendance etc. to contain the pandemic.
3.
It is also worth to mention that concerned state governments and some central
govt. departments have already issued the orders regarding it. Perhaps other
central govt. departments are waiting for the orders to be issued from the nodal
department first.
4.
DOPT being the nodal department, it is requested to kindly issue the due OM to
enable central govt. offices to follow the same. The matter may kindly be treated as immediate.
