Sir,
As your
goodself is already aware that there are strict instructions to
work on e-office not only in our CBIC but also throughout the Govt. of India. Accordingly, it is submitted with due regards that all of our officers are
required to be provided android mobile phones with sim card and net connection
alongwith appropriate periodical recharge facility.
2. It is also not out of place to mention that our officers are required to get OTP to use AIOs and govt. mail Ids using Kavach app under e-office which is not possible without having a good quality android mobile phone. Not only it, the offices are already also functioning on whatsapp now a days. For whatsapp office also, a good quality android mobile phone with sim card and fast speed net connection is required because they are asked to work from home after and before office hours and also on holidays frequently.
3. In view
of the above, it is requested to kindly provide good quality android mobile phone with sim card and fast speed net
connection alongwith appropriate periodical recharge facility to all of our
officers for smooth functioning of the govt. work.
