Our beloved former AIB president Sh R. Chandramouli has finally called it a day from the department after a trial of one and half years. Definitely he is entitled to his decision but his penultimate effort to break the Association is very much deplorable and not at all expected from him. He was very much sure that he is going to resign voluntarily today or tomorrow but before leaving the job he did the damage of breaking the platform using/misusing his position of being the outgoing President by convening a separate meeting at Chennai on the very day of AIB convention at Gandhidham. Most irresponsible act on his part was that inspite being in chair in the AEC meet at Delhi on 4th February'17, which he himself named as pre-convention meet where the date and venue of the next convention was fixed on 27-28th May 2017 at Gandhidham, he called another separate meeting on the same day on his home soil. But the most interesting thing is that the AEC meet at Delhi on 4th was very much attended and favoured by the so-called fire brand leaders who are again out to preach untruth and mislead the bonafide members as usual in Kolkata this week. Sometimes these people become atheist and go in hibernation and sometimes all of a sudden become proactive and even anarchist. It's very surprising if Sh Chandramouli himself is not interested in organisational activities and decided for premature retirement then what prompted him to break the Association and why he let himself to be used for the purpose? It seemed that there is some loss of balance in his activities, even recently in a social media he termed a judgement of hon'ble SC as "match fixing". Irony of fate is that the interested people around him are using the name of Sh Chandramouli even after his unwillingness and he had to allow it. In Kolkata also he came to favour the people who had shown reluctance to work in unison and resigned from the executive committee. Thus the splinter faction has lost it's relevance totally and except leanings to a particular political party and creating nuisances and hindrances to cadre welfare in the name of organization they have nothing to offer.
