I am getting regular queries about the extension of temporary posts of Asstt. Commissioner. There seems nothing to be worried on this issue. The matter is being duly pursued. The orders for extension of these posts were expected around two months ago but have been delayed due to some procedural queries. The extension is expected soon for further three years. However, the original proposal was sent for the extension for five years. No need to say that these would further be extended after three years.
The main point on this issue is that the service rendered against these posts should also be counted for further promotions. This point is also being pursued. If required, the AIACEGEO will go to the court on this point.
