1. As already communicated yesterday on 06.08.14 through sms, the Convention
has now been rescheduled for 01.11.14 to 02.11.14. It will be held at Daman on
the said dates on the basis of the confirmation given by our Daman-Vapi Unit
regarding the availability of the hotel accommodation. The dates have been
rescheduled on being asked by some of our units keeping in view the festival
season in October. The acceptance of our Daman-Vapi Unit based on their
participation in Chennai AEC meeting is reproduced below-“Respected Sir, Please refer to the discussions in the AEC held at Chennai on 19.07.2014 regarding holding of AGM in 2014. All the willing units were requested for submission of their claim for hosting the meet. In this regard, on behalf of the members of Associations, the Vapi Unit of AIACEGEO request your good self that we
are willing to host the AGM of AIACEGEO in 2014. If the Leadership of All India Body of AIACEGEO finds our proposal fit, we shall be highly obliged for the same. Regards Sir, Yours Sincerely, Thandi Lal Meena, President, AIACEGEO, Vapi

2. All of the concerned units are once again requested to clear their pending dues and donate maximum funds to the Association. All of the units are also requested to send the DDO certificates for the current financial year required for extension of the renewal of the recognition of the Association.3. All of the concerned units are also requested to conduct their elections,
wherever due.4. All of the concerned units are once again requested to check the vigilance
clearance position from their cadre control unit/concerned branch about the DPC
to be held for the posts of Asstt. Commissioner and expedite the sending of the
same immediately, wherever pending or incomplete. It is very necessary for
sending the proposal to the UPSC. The relaxation from DOPT regarding to fill-up
all temporary posts of Asstt. Commissioner by promotion has also come.
