Met with the Chairperson today on 08.05.18 and the following points were discussed with her-
(1) DPC for the post of Asstt. Commissioner.
(2) Revival of in-situ promotion scheme as approved in Board meeting of 18.02.11.
(3) Bringing a scheme for Central Excise/CGST executive officers benefiting the old as well as young generations.
(4) Batch to batch Non Functional Financial Upgradation (NFU) to our officers to grant financial parity with the best placed counterparts of CSS etc.
(5) Flexible Complementary/Dynamic Assured Career Progression Scheme for Superintendents in accordance of the observation of CBEC under OM F. No.A-26017/154//2015-Ad.IIA Dt. 22.02.16 about the disparities in promotions that it is an alarming anomalous situation.
She listened everything giving due time. Made relevant remarks on the representations (representations are already placed on the blogspot). She was further pleased to call her OSD and handed over our representations to her further asking to monitor every issue on weekly basis. She assured to do the things at Board level itself on the issues which are under the purview of the CBEC. About the issues to be sent to the nodal department/s, she assured to recommend the same to the concerned department accordingly. As far as the DPCs for the post of Asstt. Commissioner for the years 2016-17 and 2017-18 are concerned, the same will be done very soon without delay. The steps will also be taken to convene the DPC for the year 2018-19 soon.
